Heather Mc Garey
Although Heather has worked with a variety of media, she currently works almost exclusively in colored pencil.
Heather earned a BFA at the University of Colorado. She has studied in NYC at the Art Student's League and the School of VIsual Arts. She is a signature member of the Colored Pencil Society of Am.
"We often take the beauty of common things for granted. I like to look closely at things until I really see them. It is important for me to appreciate even the smallest of objects and find richness and complexity in their colors, tones and textures."
She is also President of CPSA District Chapter 220. Heather has been in numerous juried shows, including 4 international colored pencil exhibitions.
