I graduated from the Community College of Denver with a degree in Photography and went on to receive a BA from Metro State in Graphic Design with an emphasis in Marketing. My architectural photography in the Denver area has earned several awards for outstanding achievement. I have a certificate in the Arts Leadership Program and am currently Head of Outreach for Rocky Mountain PBS. At the 2004 CPSA National Convention, my piece "One" earned an "Outstanding Achievement" award from the Florida Chapter. I reside in Golden, CO, where I am mom to a grown son and a spoiled cat. I am a daughter & friend, with far too many pencils!
Drawing is one of the greatest joys in my life. I don't tend to draw from photos but from my imagination. I think often my art reflects the best part of who I am. I love humor and have a great appreciation for the imagery in children's picture books. I try to draw things that make you smile or think. Prints of my work are available.
